Lovi Poe stars in Akin Pa Rin Ang Bukas, an upcoming primetime series of GMA-7.
Directed by Laurice Guillen, the teleserye is set to premiere on September 9, 2013, pre-empting the timeslot to be left by Mundo Mo’y Akin.
Lovi is joined in the lead by Rocco Nacino who has worked with her before, the last of which was in the afternoon soap, Yesterday’s Bride.
Also in the main cast are Charee Pineda, Solenn Heussaff and the controversial Cesar Montano.
Helen Gamboa was also in the original cast, but she left the project allegedly because she favored another acting job in the Kapamilya Network more.
