A new trailer for On The Job aired during the finale of Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala on Friday night. The movie opens in cinemas on Wednesday, August 28.
The movie stars Gerald Anderson, Joel Torre, Joey Marquez, Angel Aquino, Shaina Magdayao, Empress, Leo Martinez, Michael De Mesa, Vivian Velez, Rayver Cruz and Piolo Pascual.
Directed by Erik Matti, OTJ follows the story of an NBI agent played by Piolo who is determined to catch a hired killer played by Gerald.
It had a world premiere at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival last May and will also be released in North America, France and Australia.
An American adaptation is also said to be in the works, directed by Baltasar Kormákur (Contraband, 2 Guns).
