Roel Manlangit’s life story will be featured in ABS-CBN’s Maalaala Mo Kaya this Saturday, August 31, 2013.

The singer’s story has been known when he joined and won Pilipinas Got Talent Season 4, and has been inspiring a lot of Filipinos ever since.

It was definitely rags-to-riches as he was a victim of a flood that took their house away. He became a YouTube sensation when someone uploaded a video of him while he was singing in a videoke machine at a side street. Now, he is a recording artist and his life is definitely better that how it used to be.

The role of Roel is played in the drama anthology by child actor Zaijian Jaranilla. Watch as he lip-sync in the teaser below.

MMK airs Saturday nights after Wansapanataym on ABS-CBN.
