Claudine Barretto said she wouldn’t allow her legal husband Raymart Santiago and his brother Randy Santiago to ruin her name.
In an interview with selected members of the press Thursday night, the actress couldn’t hide the anger in her voice while talking about the Santiagos regarding their court battles.
“Hindi ko siya sisiraan sa harapan ng tao gaya ng ginagawa nilang pagsira sa pagkatao ko, sa pangalan na pinaghirapan ko ng ilang taon para lang siraan ng isang Raymart Santiago, Randy Santiago. Hindi ko papayagang mangyari ito ulit,” she was quoted by pep.ph as saying.
She also dared them to reveal whatever it is they were saying that would ruin her.
“Ang masasabi ko lang doon sa kung anong sinasabi na ilalabas nila ang baho ko, go ahead, I dare you! Bring it on!,” Claudine said, adding that she also has something that could ruin them. “Kasi ang pinagkaiba ng baho ng mga Barrettos sa baho ng mga Santiago, yung sa amin naaamoy. Yung sa kanila, pag lumabas, ikakasira talaga nila.”
Flanked by her lawyers Atty. Ferdie Topacio and Atty. Ginger Castillo, Claudine also said that her weakness might be her kids, but it’s also them that gives her strength to fight.
“When [Raymart] hit on my kids and dragged both Sabina and Santino to court, he gave me enough strength na labanan siya at ilabas ang katotohanan,” she confessed.
Claudine recently filed a Temporary Protection Order against Raymart. The two first met in court during the hearing of the actress’s petition to make the TPO permanent. They met again in court when Raymart filed a custody case for their kids and applied for a writ of habeas corpus which was granted by the court.
Meanwhile, Randy got dragged into the issue for defending his younger brother during interviews for his recent movie, Raketeros.
