Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin will air its pilot episode on Monday, September 2. But before that, the drama series will be launched on Sunday, Sept. 1, in ABS-CBN’s ASAP 18.
Watch as the cast of the much-awaited series grace the Sunday variety show headed by Gerald Anderson who plays the lead role in the teleserye. He will be joined by members of the main cast including Dawn Zulueta, Cristine Reyes, Rayver Cruz, Tonton Gutierrez, Diana Zubiri, and Dina Bonnevie.
Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin marks Gerald’s comeback to primetime TV. The last series he did was Budoy (Oct. 2011-Mar. 2012) where he played the mentally challenged title character.
It is also the first big dramatic role for Diana Zubiri since she transferred to the Kapamilya Network. She is also in the cast of Juan Dela Cruz where she plays the character of a bad diwata that was punished and imprisoned in a stone.
The story of Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin revolves around Miguel Dizon (Gerald) who was wrongly accused of raping Carla Melendez (Diana). A good plot for exhibiting the dramatic abilities of the powerhouse cast, but sadly, it will have a limited audience as it was given the very late timeslot, just before the late night news, Bandila.
