“Angelito: Ang Bagong Yugto” beats rival program in nationwide ratings
Filipinos warmly welcomed the return of Angelito (JM De Guzman) on afternoon television as the premiere of “Angelito: Ang Bagong Yugto” hit a national TV rating of 13.5% last Monday (July 16), beating its rival program with only 10% based on the combined urban and rural TV audience measurement data from Kantar Media.
The show also consistently beat its rival show in the succeeding days, making it a very strong contender in the afternoon block.

“Angelito: Ang Batang Ama” to end soon
Angelito: Ang Batang Ama is down to its final two weeks. Starring JM De Guzman in the title role, the soap started airing last November and had been part of the afternoon viewing habit of many Pinoys.
The series also stars Charee Pineda, Joshen Bernardo, Kaye Abad, Tom Rodriguez and Matt Evans. The engaging story tackles the challenges faced by young parents and how their decisions changed the lives of the persons around them.
With the series coming to an end, expect big scenes like Jun-jun (Bernardo) being hostaged by Rolan (Evans) and Rosalie (Pineda) being shot by her brother.
