Star Cinema has released the full trailer of Ekstra which stars Star for All Season, Vilma Santos. The movie will have a commercial release starting August 14.
The movie is about the life of a movie ekstra (bit player) named Loida (Vilma). Her biggest break came when she got the role of a maid in the fictitious soap opera titled Una Kang Naging Akin Book II starring Marian Rivera, Piolo Pascual and Cherie Gil.
Directed by Jeffrey Jeturian, Ekstra is one of the official entries in the Directors Showcase category of the ongoing Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival 2013.
