Corey Monteith’s mom, Ann McGregor, has finally talked about her son’s passing, three weeks after he was found dead in a Vancouver hotel.
Ann took to Twitter on Friday morning to thank Cory’s fans for their overwhelming support.
“I would like to thank all of Cory’s supporters at this extremely emotional time. Your support has been overwhelming… thank you!” she said.
She also added that she never talked to anyone about her feelings and thoughts and that the words the press has been quoting her with are not hers.
“The person releasing articles relating to my feelings and thoughts on how to take care of Cory’s ashes has never been in contact with me,” Ann tweeted.
“I have never met or spoken to this person he does not represent me or my wishes,” she added.
Cory died of “mixed drug toxicity, involving heroin and alcohol” on July 13.
