The West Track Boys tried their luck in the Davao del Sur leg of The X Factor Philippines auditions. And should we say don’t judge the book by its cover?
The 5-member boy band consisted of a minero, a fish vendor, a disco mobile operator, a farmer and an unemployed ex-minero.
They were all wearing white wife beaters and looked like a less appealing version of the Makulados. But when they started singing Nsync’s This I Promise You, the judges were impressed and the audience went wild.
There were flat parts but it was an overall good performance. Mix that with a tremendous audience appeal and they passed the audition and went through to the boot camp.
