After Dahil Sa Pag-ibig wrapped up, the series’ star Piolo Pascual will be busy doing a new series titled Apoy Sa Dagat.
Piolo will start working on the new soap next week, where he will star opposite Angelica Panganiban, his leading lady in the recently shown Every Breath U Take.
His role in Apoy Sa Dagat is said to be very physically challenging and will require him to shoot multiple days at sea.
But “physical” shouldn’t be mistaken for action because Apoy Sa Dagat is a drama, a niche Piolo is best known for.
Piolo described the series as “big” with “difficult concepts,” reasons why he couldn’t say no to it. It will also require him to go to different places, but the hunk actor wouldn’t spill more details about the series’ story.
Diether Ocampo, whose last television series was last year’s Guns and Roses, will also be in Apoy Sa Dagat.
