UPDATE: Tyron Perez's wife, Liv, was convinced that the actor killed himself. Although hesitant to link the suicide to the actor's gambling debts, she admitted that her husband has an outstanding debt that might have caused him great anxiety.
“Around 9 a.m. [Dec. 29] tinawagan niya ako. Sabi niya magpapakamatay daw siya. Sabi ko, “ano ka ba?’ Kasi hindi si Tyron, eh, hindi siya [ganun]. Sabi niya, ‘gusto mong marinig? Gusto mong marinig?, sabi niya. Narinig ko na lang, ‘boom.’ Parang nahulog na libro tapos….Parang nahulog ‘yung cellphone. Hello ako nang hello [pero] wala na,” she said, recalling her last cellphone conversation with her husband.
Tyron Perez was found dead inside an abandoned car in Valenzuela on Thursday, December 29, 2011. He was 26.
The Toyota Altis where Tyron's body was found was seen parked at Que Grande in Barangay Ugong, Valenzuela City since the morning of December 29 but the body was only discovered later at night.
According to a tweet by @gmanews the actor was found with a gunshot to his head.
"According to Valenzuela Police, actor Tyron Perez was found dead with gunshot to the head. @jpsoriano reports on @SAKSI."
While Tyron lives in Parañaque City, he reportedly spent Christmas with a close friend in Barangay Ugong.
The police are still conducting investigations but people, especially on social networking sites like Twitter, believe it was suicide.
