KC Concepcion Confirms Break-Up with Piolo Pascual

KC Concepcion was interviewed by Boy Abunda in yesterday's episode of The Buzz. Though she couldn't tell anyone about what exactly happened, a crying KC admitted that she and Piolo Pascual has indeed broken up.

KC couldn't say the reason for the break-up. She explained it by saying, "may mga bagay na parang hindi ko na kayang lunukin, hindi ko na kaya 'yon tanggapin..." The megadaughter also admitted that she's angry but wouldn't elaborate more on why she's angry and what were the things/facts that she couldn't accept. "Hindi ko masabi kasi, e. Hindi ko talaga Tito Boy masabi sa kahit na sinong tao kung ano'ng nangyari. Hindi ko talaga pwedeng sabihin."

When asked what would happen if she tell anyone, she said, "Ayoko lang makasakit ng tao..."

The two recently did a series of concerts at the US and their relationship was already in trouble at that time. KC said it was really a challenge and everyday seemed like a test to her. On the question if they were able to talk while they were doing the concerts, KC answered with "PJ knows exactly why we broke up. He knows exactly why."

KC said more lines that would make you wonder more about what really happened:

On the question if she already told her mom Sharon Cuneta about the things that happened: "Kahit hindi ko pa kinwento sa kanya, alam n'ya na..."

On what she thought was her shortcomings with regards to her relationship with Piolo: "Masakit man sabihin, hindi ako 'yong, siguro nag-fail din ako dahil hindi ako 'yong kaylangan n'ya sa buhay n'ya, or hindi ako 'yong hinahanap n'ya sa buhay n'ya, and hindi ko mabigay sa kanya 'yong kaylangan n'ya."

On the worst thing about that relationship: "'Yong dahilan ng break-up namin."

KC said she and Piolo were civil with each other and all that she asked of him was for him to not get mad at her just because she got hurt, or because she's not perfect, or because there were things that's really beyond what she could understand and accept, or because she needed to feel all the emotions she was feeling right now and needed to respond or to react the way a woman in her situation should react.

KC Concepcion said she did the interview because she was finding it hard to hide the fact that she and Piolo have already broken up. She also explained that it was one of the first things she needed to do to cope up or to move on.

"Magtira ka para sa sarili mo" was the most important lesson she learned in the relationship. "At ang tiwala na ibibigay mo sa taong mamahalin mo, dapat alagaan ng taong mahal mo."

And her one wish? "Na makahanap talaga ako ng true love!" she said followed by a laugh.

KC also shared some facts about her relationship with Piolo, like he tried courting her when she turned 18 and Piolo and his barkada were the first ones who befriended her when she got back to the Philippines after studying in Paris. That's the time when he started courting her on and off for two years. She also said that Piolo followed her to Boracay during her birthday in 2010 and started really pursuing her. They became officially together on October 21, 2010, which Piolo admitted via an interview with Charlene Gonzales on the January 30, 2011 episode of The Buzz.
