Sharon Cuneta Transfers to TV5 with a P1B Contract

Sharon Cuneta is indeed transferring to TV5! Sources of PhilStar's Funfare have confirmed that a P1B deal is sealed and it was the megastar's manager, Viva's Boss Vic del Rosario, who negotiated with the Kapatid network for the transfer.

1 billion pesos! Although the sources didn't elaborate on details of the contract, it was said that the deal is the biggest ever for a local artist. One thing is for sure, though. The contract includes a talk show for Sharon.

Rumors about the megastar's leaving ABS-CBN has been talked about before but nobody confirmed it until now. Also, her non-inclusion in the ABS-CBN 2011 Christmas ID even more than supported the report. She also wouldn't be in The X Factor Philippines anymore, despite her being in the original plug.

Talks spread earlier this year that Piolo Pascual asked for the same amount when TV5 offered him a contract, but then we know it never materialized because he's still with ABS-CBN.
