Anne Curtis and John Lloyd Cruz were both seen at a Cherry Mobile event on Tuesday night, more than a week after the two figured in a slapping incident at Privé Luxury Club in Taguig.
It was in the same Cherry Mobile event where Anne and JM Rodriguez, co-owner of Privé who also received harsh words from Anne that early morning of November 23, showed everyone that there's no more tension between them. JM was a host that night and he introduced Anne as his "good friend." They hugged afterwards.
John Lloyd and Anne, however, were not seen together in the Tuesday night event of the mobile brand of which they are both endorsers.
The award-winning actor was reportedly with another celebrity endorser, Sarah Geronimo, his leading lady in a series of blockbuster movies, the most recent of which was this year's It Takes A Man And A Woman.
John Lloyd has also been quiet about the Privé incident where he was slapped by Anne and was accused of being an addict.
Rumors say John Lloyd and Jake Cuenca (who were both in the same group with JM and other friends) pulled a prank on Anne (who was hosting a bachelorette party for a friend) by banging non-stop on the toilet door while the It's Showtime host was inside.
Jake has already denied doing that, saying he's too old to be pulling pranks.
John Lloyd, however, has not released any statement yet regarding the issue.
The incident, especially being called an addict, has made some showbiz fans question the wholesome actor's character. Is he really an addict? Or was Anne's accusation just part of her drunken state? The actress could also refer to some other addiction or she could also just mean that he acts like an addict because of the prank.
Meanwhile, a specific interview of Ruffa Gutierrez, one of John Lloyd's former girlfriends, has now resurfaced. It's where the beauty queen and actress revealed that John Lloyd admitted to her he has drinking problems.
