Sultan Kudarat was hit by a magnitude 6.0 earthquake on Sunday night, November 3, 2013.
According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) bulletin, the tremblor occurred at exactly 7:04 PM. Its epicenter was traced 195 kilometers (km) southwest of Palimbang, Sultan Kudarat.
Tectonic in origin, the earthqauke had a depth of 556 km.
It was felt in the following areas:
Intensity 3 - Malita, Davao del Sur
Intensity 2 - Davao City
No damage caused by the earthquake has been reported yet as of this posting.
