Jericho Rosales got engaged to girlfriend Kim Jones on Sunday, August 4, 2013.
The engagement happened at the New Life Christian Center in Alabang, right after a Sunday service.
According to Jericho during a phone patch interview in The Buzz, he arranged it with the pastor to call him up on the stage at the end of the service. He started his speech with the words “Why me?” like why God loves him and the likes. He eventually turned those words into “Will you marry me?” and said it to Kim who was also at the said church that time.
Jericho revealed that he cried, and confessed that he also cried when he asked Kim’s mom for permission to marry her daughter the previous day. The mom gave him all her blessings.
When asked how did he know that he wanted to spend forever with Kim, Jericho said it was because she accepted him and all that had happened to him in the past.
Meanwhile, the actor also said that they are already talking about marriage but there’s no date yet. He added, though, that they want a beach wedding.
On Instagram, he uploaded a photo (above) of Kim with the ring on her finger. He captioned it with: “Ok here's the real one i love you, Miss Jones. You are the love of my life. Thank you for saying YES (to forever) to me. Happy birthday! God is amazing! Yeeeeeehaaa! We are #engaged !!!! ☺☺☺ #jackpot #grandslam @kimcamjones ❤❤❤”
And yes, it was also Kim’s birthday.
