Sarah Geronimo has recently received not just one, but two achievements that are added feathers to her cap.
First, the pop star was chosen to be the Philippine Army’s Bayanihan Ambassador for being a role model for the youth, and for staying humble despite the fame and fortune the entertainment industry has given her.
Sarah is also to be really admired because she rendered her services for free. Talks has it that her TF could have reached as high as P10-million for singing the theme composed by LT JG Lady Chatterly Alvaro-Sumbeling PN and starring in the music for it.

Second, she received the first-ever Best Asian Artist-Philippines award from 2012 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) held on November 30 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
It was the first time MAMA has given the said award and Sarah was the proud first recipient. An equivalent of the award was also given for the first time to other countries including Japan, Vietnam, Indonesia, Singapore and China.
