Tate Stevens was declared winner of the second season of the The X Factor beating out Carly Rose Sonenclar and Fifth Harmony.
Stevens, 37, was from the Over 25’s category mentored by L.A. Reid. He’s now $5 million richer for winning the contest and will surely not be doing any construction job anymore.
13-year-old Sonenclar who was under Britney Spears placed second, while Simon Cowell’s Fifth Harmony was declared third.
Performers during the two-hour finale included Pitbull and One Direction, the boy band that was launched by the British version of the show.
