Piolo Pascual speaks up on “kissing photo” with Maja Salvador

A video containing two photos of Piolo Pascual and Maja Salvador was uploaded last month on YouTube. It shows the two Kapamilya stars about to kiss while inside a car. Nothing has been heard from the two involved about the said video until Piolo recently talked about it to pep.ph.

The actor said he came from a run and the Star Magic Gives Back concert that night when he saw Maja while he was driving out of McKinley.

“Nag-run kami at pagkatapos, nag-Star Magic Gives Back concert kami,” Piolo told pep. “I was driving out of McKinley, nakita ko siya, nagpaalam ako. Tapos, she’s gonna leave, holding my car. Tapos yun, may nag-picture na. We were gonna kiss.”

So they really kissed, and from the looks of it, the kiss wasn’t just a friendly cheek-to-cheek.

The description of the video uploaded by habibi abi said:

My car was parked near the celebrities entrance/exit area..... The show was finished & was about to get in my car & saw Maja stopped a sports car... I thought 'twas Matteo Gudicelli but found out 'twas Piolo & captured this pics thru my iPhone.....

When further asked by pep if they did that because they were both unattached, Piolo simply said, “Siguro.” But took it back by adding, “Pero lokohan lang yun, wala yun.”

Before this kissing photo with Maja came out, an issue also came out between Piolo and Shaina Magdayao which stemmed from a series of photos posted by Shaina on her Instagram account. The photos showed her with Piolo during their stay in Singapore for ASAP 2012.

Those photos seemed “safe,” though, which makes one wonder who started the “controversy” regarding those.

Are these controversies just a way to make the actor’s image as a hunk more credible? As we all know, Piolo’s sexual preference became even more controversial after his breakup with KC Concepcion.
