LJ Moreno and CJ Jaravata win “The Amazing Race Philippines”

LJ Moreno and CJ Jaravata was declared the first-ever winner of The Amazing Race Philippines during the finale that aired December 15.

Bestfriends LJ and CJ were the first to reach the final pit stop during the final leg held in Davao City, winning for themselves the grand prize of P2-million and the bragging rights to be called the winners of the debut season of the TV5 reality show franchise hosted by Derek Ramsay.

The tandem beat the brothers-in-law team of Fausto Reyes and Dayal Chowdary and the gym buddies Marc Dungo and Kat Tan.

There were a total of eleven teams at the start of the season. the other eight teams that didn’t make it to the finale were football brothers Anton and Armand, amigas Saida and Jervi, magkumpare Boom and Cheng, friends Dani and Mish, father and daughter Ed and Angel, dating couple Crystel and Mykey, reunited friends Sheena and Gee, and Alabang housewives Pamela and Vanessa.
