Tomorrow (July 3) in Patrol ng Pilipino, ABS-CBN news reporter Jeff Canoy will follow the latest on the victim identified as Gina Castillo, who was walking with her five-year-old son in Tondo, Manila when an unidentified suspect blocked their path and shot her multiple times. She died on the spot.

Alongside this case, Jeff will look into the rise of violent police crimes in the country that are left unsolved because the perpetrators are still at large. How many of these cases have the police solved to ensure proper justice is served to the victims? What is the implication of the growing crime numbers on national peacekeeping and crime fighting?

Meanwhile, Chiara Zambrano will join Kapwa Conference in Baguio City, a gathering of indigenous people not only from the Philippines but also from Japan, United States, and Thailand. The event, which is organized every four years, is said to promote good communication and friendship among indigenous groups all over the world despite their differences. How do they manage to preserve their culture and ancestry amidst the threats of modernization?

Know the stories behind the news in Patrol ng Pilipino tomorrow (July 3) after Bandila on ABS-CBN or watch it earlier on DZMM TeleRadyo (SkyCable Channel 26), 9:15 PM.
