According to Jobert Sucaldito, he lobbied for Jorge Estragan for Best Actor at the recent Star Awards for Movies and commissioned 22 out of 38 voting members of the Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) to make sure Estregan wins the award.
However, one voting member who he named as Francis Simeon, lobbied for Vice Ganda and paid the other members of the PMPC to vote for the Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy actor, who eventually won the award.
He says a voting member cannot campaign for a nominee.
