Star Cinema’s The Reunion is showing on August 15, 2012. Starring Enchong Dee, Kean Cipriano, Xian Lim and Enrique Gil, the youth-oriented movie is about a group of high school friends bound by their love for music and their pursuit for the true meaning of happiness.
The Reunion will go head-to-head on August 15 with the Elmo Magalona-Julie Anne San Jose-starrer from GMA Films, Just One Summer.
While The Reunion looks like a fun movie based on the trailer, Just One Summer is a romantic teen drama that involves the elements of broken family and first love.
While both movies look good, however, Elmo and Julie Anne will go against four of ABS-CBN’s hottest young actors plus Jessy Mendiola, Julia Montes and Megan Young in the box-office.
The Reunion also pays tribute to the songs of the iconic local band Eraserheads, as heard on The Reunion album that features the country’s best bands and solo acts. Read about the album here.
