Peter Jackson released a new poster for The Hobbit through his Facebook page.
The poster is for the Comic Con happening in San Diego and the movie’s director captioned it with:
“Hi everyone. Here's an exclusive Comic Con poster. Be sure to get your copy in San Diego and let me know what you think of it! Cheers, Peter J”
On Friday, he announced that they have wrapped up shooting the movie at day 226.
“We made it! Shoot day 266 and the end of principal photography on The Hobbit. Thanks to our fantastic cast and crew for getting us this far, and to all of you for your support! Next stop, the cutting room. Oh, and Comic Con!

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is set to be released on December 14. It is the first part of Jackson’s movie adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien’s masterpiece which is actually a prelude to The Lord Of The Rings.
Recently, the characters of Gandalf (Ian McKellen) and Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) covered EW magazine as part of the movie’s marketing campaign.

And, of course, we can expect more surprises as the movie’s release date comes near.
Also in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey are Orlando Bloom, Elijah Wood, Ian Holm, Cate Blanchett, Luke Evans, Benedict Cumberbatch, Andy Serkis, Hugo Weaving, Stephen Fry, Christopher Lee, Evangeline Lilly and Richard Armitage.
