Vhong Navarro, Anne Curtis ask "It's Showtime" viewers to pray for Vice Ganda

Vice Ganda, who's currently confined in the hospital, still managed to joke about his condition through Twitter on Tuesday.

"Still in the hospital. Medyo ok naman nako. Inoobserbahan n lng yung bata kasi mahina ang kapit at malakas sumipa," the comedian posted.

He hasn't revealed why he got confined but Kris Aquino, one of his showbiz friends, said that the "It's Showtime" host has not been feeling well since last week.

"Thursday pa lang, GGV, not feeling well na siya. Friday hindi siya nakapag-Showtime pero pinilit niyang makapag-shooting ng Praybeyt Benjamin. Saturday nagsho-shooting and he was telling me na 'Hindi okay. Mayroon akong hindi magandang pakiramdam,'" Kris said in the episode of "Aquino & Abunda Tonight" on Monday.

It was the same day that Vice posted on Twitter a photo of his hand with intravenous drip.

Kris went on to say that the "It's Showtime" host even failed to attend church on Sunday because of LBM.

"Sunday we were supposed to go to Mass together. 'Not feeling well ako, asawa. Rest na lang muna ako.' Then, today I asked Paul Cabral kung ano ang nangyayari. He kept throwing up and LBM, up and down nagka-fever na maybe because of dehydration," she said.

Kris further said that Vice's unhealthy lifestyle could have caused the hospitalization.

"Alam mo katigasan din kasi ng ulo niya, he doesn't eat before Showtime. ... ang unang kain ay after 'It's Showtime' which is a heavy meal at about 3:30 to 4 p.m. and then puyat nang puyat kasi yun ang nakasanayan niya. Sanay siya na natutulog kapag paakyat ang araw, so bago magsimula ang Showtime ay apat na oras lang ang tulog. Tapos kakain tapos magsi-siyesta," she said.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, Vice's co-hosts in the Kapamilya noontime show asked the televiewers to pray for him.

"Ipagdasal natin si Vice kasi baka lang, baka lang, sa kidney niya may cyst na nakita, e. Basta ipagdasal lang natin si Vice," Vhong Navarro said.

"Undergoing s'ya ng tests kaninang umaga so let's keep him in our prayers," Anne Curtis added.

Aside from the noontime show that airs Monday to Saturday, Vice is also busy doing the 2014 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry "Praybeyt Benjamin 2."
