“The Voice of the Philippines Season 1” finalist Darryl Shy introduces his type of folk-pop music via his self-titled, five-track debut album under Star Records.
From his trending and powerful performance last year of the Asin classic “Balita” in “The Voice,” Darryl will once again enchant listeners with his unique folk-pop, soulful rendition of four timeless hits including OPM favorites “Ang Pag-Ibig Kong Ito” and “Kung Kailangan Mo Ako;” and international classics “Desperado” by Eagles and “Danny’s Song” by Kenny Loggins. The debut album of Darryl, who is now Star Records’ exclusive contract artist, also features an original track titled “Home” composed by Piero Vergara, and the instrumental versions of “Desperado” and “Ang Pag-Ibig Kong Ito.”
Darryl’s debut album is now available in record bars nationwide for only P199. The tracks can also be downloaded via iTunes, Amazon.com, Mymusicstore.com.ph, and Starmusic.ph.
