A project first conceived after the foundation was formed in 2012, the MYNP book originates from Abunda’s belief that “maternal love is a transformative force that can nurture leadership qualities of Filipinos for social transformation.”

Curated inside the MYNP book are personal anecdotes and reflections from the country’s most respected leaders and well renowned personalities in various fields including President Benigno Aquino III, ABS-CBN President and CEO Charo Santos-Concio, ABS-CBN President and CEO Charo Santos-Concio, Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago, Manny Villar, Kris Aquino, Coco Martin, Anne Curtis, Kiefer Ravena, Kathryn Bernardo, and many more. The MYNP book is a unique look into how their mothers’ love helped lead them to where they are today.

Organized by National Book Store and Raffles Makati, the opening of 2014 Philippine Literary Festival, which will start at 9AM at the Ballroom 2 of Raffles Makati, will feature a chat and discussion with Abunda on how Filipinos can truly make their nanays proud.

MYNP Foundation aims to gather Filipinos who love their mothers and encourage them to become model citizens of whom their moms can be proud.

The MYNP book launch is open to everyone, and all proud sons and daughters are welcome to bring along their nanays for the book signing which will follow afterwards.
