Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla will topbill the remake of the hit ABS-CBN series "Pangako Sa 'Yo." The love team will play the roles of Yna and Angelo, originally portrayed by Kristine Hermosa and Jericho Rosales respectively from 2000 to 2002.
Last August, Kathryn expressed her excitement over possibly doing the project, but did not confirm anything.
"Kung bigyan ako ng chance na gawin 'yon, sobrang, sobrang saya no'n gawin. Isa 'yun sa mga classic talaga na teleserye. Sobrang thankful," she said.
Meanwhile, Daniel said people should watch out for it because it is a big project for their tandem.
"Malaking project ang aming gagawin kaya kailangan abangan," he said.
Aside from the characters of Yna and Angelo, the series also produced unforgettable characters like that of Amor Powers played by Eula Valdez, and Madame Claudia Buenavista played by Jean Garcia.
