John Prats has revealed some details about his upcoming wedding with Isabel Oli, who said "yes" to his wedding proposal last September.
The actor-dancer said they want the wedding to be in May next year, and although they haven't picked the exact date yet, they want it to be in the first half of the month to avoid the rain. It's going to be a garden wedding in their farm in Batangas.
Although both John and Isabel are pretty much hands-on with the preparations, they hired a wedding coordinator because they're going to have two weddings - a Catholic and a Christian one.
Meanwhile, John admitted his priorities have changed after the proposal.
"I used to shop, I used to go out with Sam [Milby]. Ngayon iba na,e," he was quoted by pep.ph as saying.
He admitted that he is still saving up for the wedding, which he wants to be the best one that he can afford.
"I want to give [Isabel] the best wedding gown, I want to give her the best food, the best wedding na puwede kong ibigay sa kanya 'cause siyempre that's gonna happen once in our lives," he said.
He's really excited to tie the knot. They haven't decided on where to go for honeymoon yet, but he's sure he wants to have kids immediately as both he and Isabel are already in their thirties.
The "Banana Split" mainstay also said that they are focusing on buying a house as well.
"Isang reyna lang dapat sa isang bahay. Hindi puwedeng dalawa, magulo 'yon. Kung ang nanay ko 'tsaka siya [Isabel] magsama, may conflict. But they're good. Sobrang gusto siya ng mom. But siyempre you want to experience, to live in one house with your family," he explained.
John also revealed that Isabel chose to be a housewife after the wedding to take care of their family.
