Broadcast journalist Atom Araullo shows you how to keep your family or barkada outings safe this semestral break as he teaches you the basics in reviving a drowning victim and other safety tips this Friday (Oct 31) on “Red Alert.”
According to the Department of Health, eight Filipinos die of drowning every day, with 35% of the victims mostly teenagers and children aged 14 years old and below.
Tatay Boyet’s nine-year-old son Bojo was among these helpless victims. In the episode, he personally recounts to Atom what he went through when his young boy, whom he hadn’t seen for a long time, was taken away from him in a snap.
