Miss Grand International 2014 is Cuba's Daryanne Lees

Daryanne Lees of Cuba was crowned Miss Grand International 2014 during the pageant night held October 7 at the Indoor Stadium Huamark in Bangkok, Thailand. She was crowned by the first-ever winner, the 2013 title-holder Janelee Chaparro of Puerto Rico.

The 27-year-old pageant veteran got USD40,000 as part of her price. She will also be living in Bangkok throughout her reign and will be visiting a number of countries to promote the pageant's campaign to "Stop the War."

Daryanne is half-Cuban who was born in Puerto Rico and currently resides in Florida, USA.
