Jericho Rosales, mum on John Lloyd Cruz 'back out' rumor

Jericho Rosales and Maja Salvador are reunited in the upcoming series, "Bridges," after starring in the primetime hit "The Legal Wife" which ended last June.

But is it true that John Lloyd Cruz has backed out of the TV project?

When asked about the rumor, Jericho decided to just keep quiet about it, saying it's something that he doesn't have permission to talk about.

"I can't release any official statement, eh, as of now. 'Di ako na-instruct na mag-release ng any information about it, but all I can say is tuloy 'yung show at nag-su-shoot kami ngayon. In fact, this week meron kaming isa pang shoot," he said, as quoted by abs-cbnnews.com.

If the rumor was true, however, it will definitely sadden the fans of John Lloyd who last starred in a TV series via "A Beautiful Affair" which ended in January 2013.

He now, however, is seen on TV every Saturday via the sitcom "Home Sweetie Home," and he has a currently showing drama movie, "The Trial."

Meanwhile, "Bridges" was announced last August. It is under Star Creatives, the same team behind TLW.

"Same makers siya ng 'Legal Wife.' Siguro about 70%, same team kami," Jericho revealed about the series.

He further said that "Bridges" revolves around the story of two siblings and that he and Maja will play very different roles from the ones they played in TLW.

"Makikita mo talaga, ibang-iba 'yung characters namin, 'yung ipo-portray namin. Malayong-malayo sa Adrian, malayong-malayo sa Nicole. Iba 'yung relationship nilang dalawa dito. It's a totally different story," he said.
