Anne Curtis, Erwan Heussaff's engagement is fake

Anne Curtis and her boyfriend Erwan Heussaff denied via separate Twitter posts that they are already engaged.

Fake news about their alleged engagement was posted on the Instagram account of a wedding inspirations blog on Wednesday morning. The post showed a photo of Anne and Erwan with the former holding a plate of cupcakes.

The caption read: "Literally the sweetest engagement!!!! Congratulations @erwanjheussaff and @annecurtissmith !"

Word immediately spread, and hours later, on Wednesday evening, Anne took to Twitter to deny the engagement news, saying: "Hahaha! Where did this news come from? Just got calls from my friends + my sister asking if I got engaged! LABO! Who kaya started the rumor?"

Likewise, Erwan also tweeted: "Ummm if i were to propose guys, i wouldnt do it with cupcakes. You'd think they would make me look better in a fake proposal #fakenews #oops."

The Instagram post about the proposal, meanwhile, has already been deleted. The blog's editor posted a message instead, apologizing to the celebrity couple and explaining that the fake news came out because a new intern misunderstood an article about Anne and Erwan that she had read.
