Attending a closed-door meeting with representatives of several women's rights groups, Coco apologized and admitted that there was something wrong with the act given to him at the said fashion show.
The "Ikaw Lamang" actor also admitted that he lost some endorsements because of the controversy.
Meanwhile, Richard Gomez, who has modeled for Bench since the brand's early years, said "The Naked Truth" was just a show and that some party list groups are just using it for the upcoming elections.
"Alam naman natin na malapit na ang eleksiyon, so 'yung mga party list groups sila 'yung mga maiingay, naghahanap ng issue. Gano'n lang kasimple 'yun," the "The Trial" actor said.
The accusation was answered by Gabriela's Liza Maza. "I think it is below the belt," she said. "Nag-apologize na si Coco and to some extent nag-apologize na rin 'yung Bench. Tapos, e, sumasakay ka pa. Baka ikaw ang namumulitika."
