The Star Magic Ball 2012 was held Saturday night, September 1, at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel. It was attended by the stars of ABS-CBN’s management arm, Star Magic, who were all dressed up for the occasion.
The ball is much-awaited by fans and fashion enthusiasts alike every single year. Who wore who and who were what are always the talk in the entertainment and fashion scene for weeks after the event.
Star Magic recognized the efforts made by the Kapamilya stars by giving out awards, as is the custom each time. The standouts were awarded as follows:
- Drop-Dead Stunner: Bea Alonzo
- Standout Star: Coco Martin
- Prince and Princess of the Night: Julia Barretto and Julian Estrada
- Sweetheart of the Night: Julia Montes
- Couple of the Night: Xian Lim and Kim Chiu
- Star Magic Icons: Diether Ocampo and Angelica Panganiban
- Hot Mama: Carmina Villarroel
- Hot Papa: Gerald Anderson
- Breakout Style Award (pair): Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo
- Stars of the Night: Enchong Dee and Maja Salvador
- Fab Pair award: Maricar Reyes and Richard Poon
