Reports about Ai-Ai de las Alas taking over Kris Aquino’s role in the upcoming movie Sisteraka came out yesterday, and one need not be told why the presidential sister begged out of the movie.
Aside from the Monday to Friday morning show Kris TV, she is also doing an upcoming television series with Anne Curtis and Robin Padilla titled Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw.
To add to that, Pilipinas Got Talent is fast approaching and she’s reportedly coming back as judge.
Sisteraka is Star Cinema’s entry to the 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival this December. It also stars Vice Ganda plus the hit tandem of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.
Vice and Kris are good friends but the Queen of All Media has already made a decision to drop the movie, realizing she cannot do all those projects all at once without having at least one of them suffer.
Last September 16, Kris still commented on Vice’s Twitter post regarding Kathryn and Daniel, saying:
@vicegandako diba kasama natin sila sa MMFF movie natin?

Only a few days after that, however, she saw doing the movie as too much for her workload. She confirmed being out of the Sisteraka cast on Sunday, Sept. 23, through her official Twitter account as well.
Here are her series of tweets:
I didn't want to talk about work this weekend. But YES it's true I backed out of the MMFF movie w/ Vice Ganda. If u remember I lost my voice
