Marian Rivera to co-host “Extra Challenge” with Richard Gutierrez

Good news, Marian Rivera fans! The Kapuso Primetime Queen is reportedly co-hosting Extra Challenge as it comes back on air soon.

Last week, news about Extra Challenge coming back on television came out, and it is said to be hosted by Richard Gutierrez who also hosts Pinoy Adventures.

And speaking of the travel-adventure show, the network reportedly saw a certain rapport between Richard and Marian when the latter guested in the Davao episode of the Saturday program, and that’s how she got picked as a co-host.

Exciting, isn’t it? I could almost hear Marian’s shrieks in dangerous challenges.

Extra Challenge was a hit during its run from 1999 to 2006. It was originally hosted by Paolo Bediones with a succession of co-hosts from Miriam Quiambao, Ethel Booba, Phoemela Barranda to Mariel Rodriguez.

After Survivor Philippines, this is the second Paolo Bediones-hosted show that will be taken over by Richard Gutierrez.
