GMA-7 has released a cool teaser for the upcoming series Coffee Prince, which stars the love team of Aljur Abrenica and Kris Bernal.
The new series is a remake of the hit Koreanovela of the same title that aired in the Kapuso network in 2008.
Kris plays the role of Andy who takes many jobs to support her mother and sister. Andy and Arthur’s (Aljur) paths will meet and thinking Andy is a man, Arthur will hire her to pose as his gay lover to ward off the dates his grandmother sets up for him.
Arthur will be in-charge of an almost bankrupt coffee shop. Andy begs to work at the coffee shop and Arthur will eventually find himself attracted to her. But then Arthur would think he’s turning gay because from what he knows, Andy is a boy.
Directed by Ricky Davao, Coffee Prince also stars Steven Silva, Fabio Ide, Sef Cadayona, Kim Komatsu and Boy2 Quizon with veteran actors Tessie Tomas, Leo Martinez, Ronnie Henares, Ces Quesada and Celia Rodriguez. Introducing in the series are Benjamin Alves and Max Collins.
