There are new guys in the hit TV series Glee and they are both the type that the fans would go gaga about.
First meet Dean Geyer. I know people would say he’s meant to be in the show because of his surname but Dean actually plays a straight guy named Brody Weston. Lea Michele’s character Rachel Berry first met him in the shower and according to the show’s star, he “makes it very clear that he’s straight and available.”
Dean was born in South Africa and considers being on Glee as a huge opportunity.
“A lot of people think I have an Australian accent but actually it’s South African,” he said.
“Played sports my whole life, and I’ve done martial arts my whole life so I never ever saw myself being in the arts world.
“The fact that I booked a role on Glee, it’s a huge thing for me. If you grew up in South Africa you do not expect to get into Hollywood.”
Next is Jacob Artist who plays the role of Jake Puckerman. Jacob is from Buffalo, New York and he confessed that he grew up dancing. “I started when I was five and I did it intensively until the end of high school.
“I remember three years ago sitting in my living room with my family watching the pilot, you know, just hoping someday that I could be on something like it and to sit here now and be on the show it’s been unbelievably surreal.”
Glee season 4 is definitely going to be exciting with these two new addition. Check them out in the video below.
