Jake Vargas renews contract with GMA-7

Jake Vargas renewed his contract with GMA-7 last Fiday, putting an end to rumors that he is leaving his manager, German Moreno, to transfer to another television network.

Kuya Germs was even present at the contract signing, along with the Kapuso Network's Senior Vice President for Entertainment TV, Lilybeth Rasonable.

Jake, whose latest show is the primetime series "Strawberry Lane," said he is happy with how GMA-7 is treating him.

"Sobrang na-appreciate ko na hindi kami pinababayaan ng GMA, talagang tinututukan kami sa bawat ginagawa namin," the young actor said.

As with regards to his relationship with girlfriend Bea Binene who is also his love team in the primetime series, Jake said he believes they have both matured in their almost three years of being together.

Meanwhile, aside from the program, he is also part of "Pepito Manaloto," "Sunday All Stars" and the German Moreno-hosted "Walang Tulugan."
