The new segment in ABS-CBN’s It’s Showtime, where cute lesbians compete against each other in talent and good looks, is becoming the new talk of the town.
Called “That’s My Tomboy,” the new concept has shown Philippine televiewers that pageants are not exclusive to men, women, and cross-dressing gay men.
The new contest started last Monday. It was opened by “out” celebs Vice Ganda and Charice singing hits that include Aiza’s Ano’ng Nangyari Sa Ating Dalawa? (What Happened To The Two Of Us?). Charice, afterwards, described the new contest as something that uplifts the confidence of lesbians.
