Daniel Padilla's mom says son not courting Julia Barretto

Rumor has it that Daniel Padilla is courting newcomer Julia Barretto, and it all started when the Teen King was seen on the set of the young actress' upcoming soap, Mirabella.

Of course, the KathNiels (fans of Daniel and rumored girlfriend Kathryn Bernardo) immediately reacted. But before anything goes out of hand, the young actor's mom, actress Karla Estrada, came to the rescue.

According to Karla, her son visited the set of Mirabella because the shoot was just accross the street from their house.

"Katapat lang kasi, tapat lang ng bahay namin 'yung shoot kaya tumawid lang si Daniel," she said.

Furthermore, Daniel knows the production team behind the soap. It was the same team he and Kathryn worked with in their past TV project, Growing Up.

"Ang production doon ay production ng Growing Up. So kaibigan ni Daniel at saka ni Kathryn 'yung mga tao na nasa soap na 'yon," she added.
