Kobe and Andre Paras have recently become official Kapuso stars as they signed their respective exclusive contracts with GMA-7 on October 18.
Their father, Got To Believe actor Benjie Paras, was present during the contract signing held at the 16th floor of the GMA Network building.
Also present were GMA-7 executives including GMA Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Felipe L. Gozon; Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Felipe S. Yalong; Officer-In-Charge of Entertainment TV Lilybeth G. Rasonable; Vice President for Entertainment TV Marivin T. Arayata; Vice President for Drama Redgie A. Magno; Assistant Vice President for Alternative Productions Gigi S. Lara; Assistant Vice President for Corporate Communications Angel Javier-Cruz; Assistant Vice President for Talent Branding and Imaging Simoun S. Ferrer; and Program Manager Charles Koo.
Kobe was grateful for the opportunity that was given to them.
“It feels great because alam ko naman pong maraming gustong magkaroon ng ganitong opportunity, sobrang masaya po kami,” he said.
On the other hand, Andre was excited to entertain the Kapuso viewers.
“Yung pagiging Kapuso, given this title. You'll be able to do projects also and to make people happy and to entertain as well,” he said.
Their dad, Benjie, revealed that he is happy for his sons because he also started his showbiz career in the same network.
“Masaya ako, I started in show business with GMA. I'm happy na andito na rin sila and likewise with GMA. Ngayon, ma-ma-maximize yung talent nila for hosting and acting. And as early as now, they can save na,” Benjie shared.
Fans of the two hardcourt hotties are expecting that the two will become more visible on television now that they’re officially with GMA-7. When it comes to good looks, anyway, these two will give some of the teen actors around a run for their money.
