The hit game show The Singing Bee will be back in November with new hosts, Amy Perez and Roderick Paulate.
Amy and Roderick have already signed their respective contracts with ABS-CBN on Tuesday, October 22, 2013, making their return to the Kapamilya Network official.
After many years of working with other TV networks, the two were recently seen again on ABS-CBN during the network's 60th anniversary event called Grand Kapamilya Weekend where cast of the network's former programs performed for ASAP 18 - Kuya Dick as part of the 90s variety show, Tonight With Dick And Carmi, and Amy as part of Palibhasa Lalaki and a couple of noontime shows.
Fans of the two have already expressed their excitement on social networking sites with their comeback as Kapamilyas, especially that they will be regularly seen on weekends as hosts of the well-loved program, The Singing Bee. And with that, Amy Perez said they appreciate the gestures.
"Thank you sa mga Kapamilya natin na pinaramdam sa amin ni Kuya Dick na masayang masaya sila and we are back together and we will be doing a show together," Amy told ABS-CBN News. "Masaya kami at naa-appreciate namin 'yon."
The Singing Bee ran for five seasons from April 2008 to February 2010. It tests the contestants' ability to remember/guess the missing lyrics of the given songs. It was hosted by Cesar Montano.
