It’s Showtime hosts Ryan Bang and Eric ‘Eruption’ Tai stunned audiences when they danced upside down on Monday, October 21, for Magpasikat Week, the week-long talent showdown of hosts to mark the noontime show’s 4th anniversary.
Eruption also showed off his hidden music skills by playing the piano, while Ryan danced ballet in comic and dramatic fashion.
Magpasikat Week is an annual tradition on It’s Showtime where the winning team wins P100,000 for their chosen charity.
Ryan and Eruption will compete with fellow hosts Karylle, Jugs Jugueta, and Teddy Corpuz (Tuesday), Vhong Navarro, Billy Crawford, and Coleen Garcia (Wednesday), Vice Ganda and Kuya Kim Atienza (Thursday), and Anne Curtis and Jhong Hilario (Friday).
The hosts were given one month to practice and are expected to give shocking and entertaining performances. What stunts and gimmicks will they come up with?
Meanwhile, eleven-year-old Filipino-Chinese Francis Ryan Lim was declared the grand winner of Pinoy Halo-Halo, It’s Showtime’s talent competition for ‘global Pinoys,’ or Filipinos with foreign blood. Francis Ryan won P300,000.
Filipino-Korean Seongki Min and Filipino-Taiwanese Chelse Tensin Lee were named first runner-up and second runner-up respectively, taking home P200,000 and P100,000.
