Former lovers Derek Ramsay and Cristine Reyes were recently in Hawaii together for some shows, but the Kapatid actor denied the reconciliation rumor that surfaced while they were there.
“No, it’s not true,” he told pep.ph when asked if they have indeed gotten back together. “We’re friends, we're better off that way.”
Derek even said that they stayed in the same hotel while in Hawaii and they were able to talk.
“Cristine and I, we’re in the same hotel, we were able to talk, so wala kaming problema,” he said. “But she moved to... she had a show pa in the States, mainland, she went off to the mainland. Ako, bumalik na ako dito.”
Derek also revealed that they are still friends.
“Yeah, we were like what we used to be,” he said. “Kaibigan niya rin yung best friend ko from Australia. Parang nagsama kami, apat kami nun, e. Yung ex-boss ng best friend ko was with us. And there were few days na we did something together. Pero there, she had her own thing, her own itinerary. Pero there was one time na we did all go out, and we had a lot of fun. Clean fun.”
Derek is currently seen in TV5’s For Love Or Money, while Cristine is part of the cast of the soon-to-end Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin.
