Paolo Onesa captured the hearts of the viewers with his rendition of Adele’s Skyfall during the 3rd live show of The Voice Of The Philippines held at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World Manila.
He beat his teammate, Lee Grane Maranan, and became one of the first 4 artists to become part of the Top 8.
The 19-year-old “Crooner Chickboy of Zamboanga” got a score of 60% from his coach Bamboo Mañalac and 81.24% of the public votes, getting a total of 141.24. Lee Grane, meanwhile, got 40% from Bamboo and 58.76% public votes, garnering a total of 98.76.
Paolo’s public votes, as well as his total score, was the highest for the night. His rich tone and sincere singing, not to mention his artista looks, have really endeared him to the fans of the show.
