As the grand winner, he got a total cash prize of P2 million, a brand new car, Asian tour package for two, and a four-year recording contract with MCA Universal.

Team Lea’s Mitoy was joined in the Top 2 by Team Sarah’s Klarisse De Guzman. After the Top 2 was announced, the votes were reset and the voting lines were opened again to determine the winner.

For the final votes, Mitoy sang his version of The Beatles’ Help where he again showcased his exceptional vocal abilities, winning over Klarisse’s rendition of Leo Valdez’s Magsimula Ka.

Mitoy got the final public votes of 57.65% and it was really a tight fight. Klarisse registered 42.35%.

Other finalists included Janice Javier of Team Apl and Myk Perez of Team Bamboo. Both didn’t make the top 2 as they only got 30.56% and 12.81% of the public votes respectively.

Mitoy is a 43-year-old vocalist of the band “The Draybers.” He has also appeared in Eat Bulaga! before but his career as a comedian-singer didn’t push through. He joined Voice PH to pursue his youthful dreams and, of course, to make a career out of his amazing singing voice.
