Joey Paras will be launched in the movie Bekikang: Ang Nanay Kong Beki which is directed by the box-office director himself, Wenn V. Deramas. It opens in theaters October 23, 2013.
Together with Joey in the movie are Tirso Cruz III, Janice de Belen, Tom Rodriguez, Nikki Gil, Malou De Guzman, Lassy, Atak, Carla Humphries, Maricar De Mesa, and JM Ibañez.
A lot of big stars also showed support to Joey by doing cameos like Dingdong Dantes, Iza Calzado, and Maricel Soriano.
The movie is about a gay man who has to put up with his stepmother and evil stepsister every day of his life. He found happiness in the company of a man he fell in love with at first sight, until that man fell in love with a woman.
It will surely be a hilarious movie, as watching the trailer alone made us laugh hard. Joey should have been given his launching movie years ago, but we’re not complaining that he’s getting his big break now.
