Mitoy Yonting made his first It’s Showtime appearance after being declared the winner of the first-ever season of The Voice Of The Philippines on Sunday night, September 29, 2013.
He sang his version of Freddie Aguilar’s Anak with his usual fun way of performing.
After the number, he thanked his coach Lea Salonga, saying the international singer was really his first choice.
“Magkakaproblema lang ako kung hindi si Miss Lea ‘yung magta-turn sa akin. Pero nung pag-turn n’ya wala na akong problema. S’ya ‘yung gusto ko, e. At nagpapasalamat ako’t meron akong natutunan,” Mitoy said.
“Do’n sa mga gumastos ng load, maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat,” he added, thanking all those who voted for him.
